My story!:)

My hair is very thin and straight and I’ve tried the no poo method a couple times before… the longest I was able to go without shampoo was a month. Every time I’d wash it with the BS and ACV rinse my hair would feel tacky, stiff and sticky. I would brush it and a white pasty stuff would be left on my brush.

I tought it was the normal transition period, and I was determined to push through… which I did, for a month. But had to wash it because of an event that was taking place and I needed my hair to be clean.

One thing that I did notice while not using shampoo is I had more volume, and my hair turned very wavy, and seemed lighter in color.

I really want to ditch shampoo once and for all… so I’m trying this again, a third time. Hopefully I’ll get past the transition phase.

update: day 2

washed with baking soda and vinegar rinse..

it just doesn’t work for me .. I can go 3 or 4 days without washing my hair, and it never goes this nasty.

So I thought, you know what? I’m just not gonna use anything on my hair…

So I mildly washed it with an organic shampoo to start all over.

day 3:

didn’t wash hair, it looked fine really. A little greasy.

I just put baby powder to absorb the oil.

day 4:

Water only rinse.

Wow! , my hair is soooo soft!!! and doesn’t look oily! Ugh why didnt i try this before! Let’s see how it turns out after a week 🙂

Day 5:

Water rinse.

It’s so amazing. My hair is super soft, and water seems to do the trick on washing away the excess oil. 🙂

I’m also doing the no soap method!! i know it sounds yucky, but its the same theory as the no poo! ..

So so far my skin feels dry, and thats weird cause my skin has always been oily!

I dont smell either fyi. 😛
